Meet the Neighbors: Rising Star Coffee Roasters

November 12, 2012

Just across the street form the Transformer Station is one of the best cups of coffee between New York and Seattle.  Rising Star Coffee Roasters supplies restaurants and institutions with its direct trade coffees and, earlier this year, opened it’s shop in the Ohio City Firehouse as a unique cafe.

The experience here is more like being in a wine bar than a coffee shop because the offerings change often in order to provide the best, freshest coffees.  These single-origin specialty roasts are exactingly prepared in a variety of exotic ways by their very friendly and knowledgable staff.  Don’t wait for the Transformer Station to open to visit Rising Star, but come back often to our corner to get some visual and caffeinated stimulation.
