CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio — Fairmount Center for the Arts will host Fred Bidwell in an online program from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 18, as part of its speaker series, “Pull Back the Curtain.” Bidwell will discuss how to make creativity pervasive in the community.

A former marketing entrepreneur, Bidwell and his wife, Laura, formed a foundation that opened Transformer Station in 2013. It is a contemporary exhibition space on Cleveland’s west side.

Bidwell is in the planning stages for the area’s second triennial exhibition of contemporary art, Front International, due to take place in 2022. He launched the previous one in 2018 with exhibits in about 20 area locations.

Bidwell serves on the board of the Cleveland Museum of Art and the visiting committee of the Allen Memorial Art Museum. He is a past board president of the Akron Art Museum.

The program is offered free of charge via Zoom. To register, contact 440-338-3171 or fairmountcenter.org. The center is located at 8400 Fairmount Road in Russell Township.
