August 13, 2016 – December 4, 2016

Throughout his career, conceptual artist Dan Graham has analyzed and dissected ideas of performance, vision, production, and structure, among other topics. Organized in collaboration with the artist, this exhibition revolved around Graham’s interest and involvement with rock ‘n’ roll, with which Cleveland has a long and notorious history. Featuring his well-known video Rock My Religion as well as a recent example of his large-scale pavilions, Dan Graham/Rocks will highlight the intersection of rock music and suburban domesticity within his groundbreaking artwork.

The Cleveland Museum of Art is generously funded by Cuyahoga County residents through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this exhibition with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence, and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.

As part of it's on-going partnership with the Cleveland Museum of Art, Transformer Station was pleased to host this exhibition organized and presented by the Cleveland Museum of Art.
