“Nobody’s ever—kind of—done this before…” Fred Bidwell glances distractedly through his office windows. Outside, the  square brick façade of the Bidwell Foundation’s new Transformer Station renovation and expansion can be seen directly  across West 29th Street – the “this” that he’s talking about.

Danielle Meeker Named Gallery Manager

Please welcome Danielle Meeker to the Transformer Station. As Gallery Manager, Danielle will be responsible for coordinating many of the activities of the gallery including scheduling volunteers, managing communications and planning exhibitions and programming. Danielle is coming from a position as Curatorial Assistant at the Akron Art Museum where she curated two shows, New Artifacts: Works by Brent Key Young and Sungsoo Kim and Ray Turner: Population. An Honors graduate of the College of William and Mary, Danielle received a BA in Art History. She lives in Tremont. Danielle will start full time on January 7, just in time for the final preparations for the Transformer Station opening on February 1.
